Hannah Legerton - "I am an Asheville native and am thrilled to be back in this community. After growing up in the Asheville City Schools, I graduated from Davidson College in 2005 with a degree in Political Science. I went on to spend a year in Portland, Maine serving through Americorps with an arts and education nonprofit called Add Verb Productions. Last year I lived in Seattle where I taught at the Seattle Children's Theatre and in Seattle public schools with a life-skills building program called Learning for Life. I returned to Asheville this summer to teach pottery in Montreat. I love learning about the Montessori methods and being a part of the Julia Street team. In my spare time I love hiking, camping, learning and teaching pottery, acting, and playing ultimate frisbee." halegerton@gmail.com
