Mindy McCormick - "I come to you from Washington, DC, where I was born and raised in the suburbs. Formally trained as an artist at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, NM, and the Corcoran College of Art & Design in DC, I earned an A.A.S in functional pottery from Haywood Community College last spring. When I am not playing with clay, I can be found playing in the dirt with my beautiful 4 year old girl, Kiana May. (Kiana can be found in Miss Carrie's room) I am taking a hiatus from my education, and working as Miss Jessica's assistant. I plan on returning to school to study elementary education when Kiana enters grade school.
